Next week Nvidia will officially release the GeForce 8800 GT and of course, such an event deserves a new driver, just to make everything work smooth. The Green Graphics Goblin of Santa Clara has been working hard on a new version to compliment the 8800 GT and that version of its ForceWare series is the 167.26.
This driver has been used for most if not all of the leaked results of the GeForce 8800 GT and now everyone can use it. The leak includes the versions for the 32bit Windows XP and Vista, both drivers being dated on 10/09/07. These beta drivers support the GeForce 6, 7 and 8 series cards and include the following line:
%NVIDIA_G92.DEV_0611.1% = nv4_NV3x, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0611
