Willingly or not, the Radeon HD 4890 can pretty much stop hiding as we now have both its specs and images of its reference design. Seen below, the RV790-equipped card has a GPU clock of 850 MHz, up 100 MHz over the Radeon HD 4870, and 1GB of GDDR5 memory set to 3900 MHz (3600 MHz for the 4870), a 256-bit memory interface, DirectX 10.1 support and CrossFireX capabilities.
The stock model comes with a rather banal dual-slot cooler, has two DVI connectors and, obviously, a red PCB. The Radeon HD 4890 is set to be released early next month, April 6 or 8th.
