Following a good dose of RV790 aka the Radeon HD 4890, the interweb is now serving up some 'dirt' on AMD/s other April-bound release, the 40nm RV740 GPU and the cards powered by it. According to a German store, the RV740-equipped Radeon HD 4750, with its 640 Stream Processors and 512MB of GDDR5 memory, is worth some 130 Euro. Given the fact that the card is still a few weeks away, it's likely the price will go down to around 100 Euro, making it a very attractive choice for those on a tight budget.
The Radeon HD 4750 features a 650 MHz-clocked GPU and a memory frequency of 3200 MHz, has DirectX 10.1 and CrossFireX support, and has dual-DVI connectivity.
