Pimping up its memory offer, Corsair has snatched a world record by having its Corsair Labs team clocking a triple channel 6GB Dominator GT DDR3 memory at a high and mighty 2533MHz. Achieved on a system that also included an EVGA X58 SLI Classified motherboard, a Core i7 975 (which has yet to be officially introduced), a HX1000 power supply and a P256 solid state drive (the last two are Corsair products), the record-breaking result has been validated by CPU-Z for and stands as proof of the overclocking capabilities of Corsair's highest-end DDR3 memory.
"When it comes to overclocking and memory, Corsair has proven - once again - that its engineering team truly is the best", said Kevin Conley, Vice President of Engineering for Corsair, "As the new world record shows, Corsair's modules are second-to-none in terms of performance, stability and quality."
Corsair's Dominator GT line-up starts off at $300 with a 3GB triple channel DDR3-2000 kit.
