Hitachi Local Backup Software

Hitachi Local Backup is the name of software I've mentioned at the introduction.
This program is within the package of all Hitachi X Mobile Drive Series.

Hitachi has hired ArcSoft to develop this program for them, and the results seems to be fine.. it is easy to use, performance issue is also perfect.
I'm going to introduce the program, just a little.                 

The program is frequently update.

The main menu is very easy to use, and there are also various functions to choose.

Just a few clicks, your data will be saved to the harddrive, also the back-ups

If I'd to talk about performance of this device, as seen from the tested result which shown that it is not really hi-performance; however, it is also not lo-performance .. the performance is within the acceptable level. As a result of USB2.0 (Not e-Sata)

Hitachi still done quite well for USB 2.0 HDD which is 2.5",
The pros is about the power managment of the device, which doesn't need other power source than USB. Other pros is the size and user friendly design, this 2.5" harddrive can fits into my pocket perfectly.. since the size is only a bit larger than a PDA phone.

It's on your decistion, if this product suits you ,, go ahead and get one, if not .. you'd better go and buy the better performance one (which will not be this small and not withing this price range).
You might also need to see it with your eyes.. if this product is worthwide or not.
