RV730 and RV710 to launch in September

Four possible SKUs
ATI plans to expand its Radeon 4 generation with a few new chips. Mainstream one is codenamed RV730 and it comes in XT and PRO flavours.
RV730XT will be faster than Radeon 3650 and it will slowly replace this mainstream card on the market. Both RV730 and RV710 chips are expected in September time. R730 cards should sell between $129 and $149.
RV710 is a replacement for Radeon 3450 and this new card should sell for around $99. Once these cards comes in the game, ATI sill slowly start phasing out Radeon 36x0 and Radeon 34x0, but this happens in September.

ATI วางแผนจะเปิดตัวการ์ดใหม่ เพื่อหวังกินส่วนแบ่งการตลาดในระดับล่าง-กลางเพิ่ม ด้วย Chip ใหม่ที่มี code name ว่า RV730 และ RV710 โดยจะมีรุ่น Pro, XT มาเพื่อแบ่งเป็นรุ่นย่อยเหมือนสมัยก่อน ทั้ง 2 ตัวนี้คาดว่าจะเปิดตัวประมาณเดือนกันยายนนี้ โดย RV730 จะมีราคาระหว่าง 129$-149$ (4257 บาท - 4917 บาท) ส่วน RV710 น่าจะราคาราวๆ 99$ (3300บาท)
RV730 และ RV710 ที่กำลังจะเปิดตัวนี้จะมาแทนการ์ดตะกูล 3450 3650 นั่นเอง

RV730PRO for $129
ATI's September's refresh mainstream card codenamed RV730XT will be selling for $149. We are talking about the faster of two RV730 cards. This card should compete with Geforce 8500GT and soon to come 9500GT which sells in the $99 to $149 market.
The RV730PRO will obviously be slower but both cards with come with 1GB of memory. We are not sure how fast are these cards compared to RV635 or Radeon 3650 but as always we're expecting the new generation to be significantly faster. We don’t know what kind of memory you get with these cards or how wide the memory bus is but we will certainly try to find out.
With 3850 being incredibly cheap we suspect that ATi will have to end of life the Radeon 3000 series to have any chance of selling its new RV730 and RV715 products.
At least on the graphics side ATI has never been better but graphics is not enough to get AMD out of financial and leadership trouble.
