ตอนแรกก็ กะจะลง ห้อง ข่าว ไม่ ก็ ห้อง ทั่วไปแล้วแหละ แต่คิดว่า ลงห้องนี้น่าจะดีกว่า เพราะ เค้า nVIDIA ริจะเริ่มทำ แพลทฟอร์ม ของตัวเค้าเอง เหมือน AMD-ATi แล้วซิ
เหตุผลก็ไม่ใช่ไครอื่นเลย นอกจากพี่ Intel นั่นเอง ที่ส่ง รุ่นเล้กสุดแสบ อย่าง Atom ลงมาเย้ยหน้า ท้า ด้วยการขายเป้นแบบ แพ็คเกจ ทำให้ ไอออนของ nVIDIA ขายไม่ออก หุหุ
เอา เอา มาดูกันเลยดีกว่า ว่า nVIDIA เริ่มต้นจากจุดไหน ที่ จะคิดว่า จะผลิต CPU มาแข่ง อีกทั้ง 2 ค่าย ยังงัย ผมคิดว่า nVIDIA เค้ามีความคิดที่จะ ผลิต CPU นานแล้วหล่ะ แต่คงติดที่ลิขสิทธิ์ เลยทำอะไรได้ไม่ค่อยคล่องเท่าไหร่ ลองไปดู ก้าว ที่สำคัญในการ ผลิต CPU ของ nVIDIA กัน
ก็อย่างแรก ก็ว่าแหละนะ เพราะ nVIDIA เค้าไม่มีลิขสิทธิ์ในการผลิต x86 เลยผลิต ในแบบ ARM ซึงผลตอบรับก็ออกมาดีซะด้วยซิ

คงจะรู้แล้วใช่มั้ย ว่า nVIDIA เค้ามีปัญหาทางด้าน ลิขสิทธิ์ ซึ่ง คิดว่า nVIDIA เค้าจะแก้ปัญหายังงัยหล่ะ ให้เดา อิอิ ถ้าเดาไม่ออก ก้อ ดูข้างล่างเลยละกัน
คงไม่เป็นอื่นไกลไปครับเดากันออกได้ง่ายๆ VIA นั่นเอง พันธมิตร ถึง อาจจะโดนควบรวมกิจการ โดย nVIDIA แล้ว สร้างแพลทฟอร์ม ของตัวเองขึ้นมาได้ง่ายๆ ลองคิดดูซิ หาก มี

แต่ ผมว่าไครหลายคน คงต้องสงสัยแน่ๆว่า เอ๊ะ Spec VIA Nano มันเป็นยังงัย แรงขนาดไหน ผมก็จามาลงให้ดูกันในที่นี้เนอะ แต่คงไม่ละเอียดนะครับ
แต่ด้วย VIA เค้ามี งบพัฒนาที่จำกัดครับ เค้าก้ พยายาม สรา้ง แพลทฟอร์ม ของเค้าให้ สู้คู่แข่งให้ได้นะ แต่ว่า ผมคิดว่า คงไปไม่รอด เจอ nVIDIA งับแน่ๆ (ควบกิจการ) ในปี 2009 นี้ อาจจะ มีข่าวแบบนี้ขึ้นมาก็เป็นได้
พูดถึง แพลทฟอร์ม VIA ผมก็ ยกมามั้งดีกว่า เนอะ เผื่อ อาจจะเจอ สาวก S3 ในนี้ก็ได้ ฮ่าๆ (ชอบของแปลกหล่ะสิท่า)

First Nvidia CPU: Tegra
Nvidia released its first CPU in February, 2008. Called Tegra, it was an ARM-based core (not x86-based) and worked with a GeForce graphics chip as part of a full SoC (System-on-Chip) design. Tegra has been used in very small devices, such as smart phones. MIDs based on the product will be shipping in the second half of this year.
Still, ARM is not x86 and the powerful software libraries and hardware toolsets created for x86 products -- those which run the Windows world -- are very appealing for new products that Nvidia would target as their GPUs greatly enhance a powerful computing experience. Nvidia's CUDA libraries enable multi-core x86-based software to speed up processing by using the GPU for compute abilities in Windows, Linux and other operating systems.

New CPU under consideration
Specific details over when the new CPU would be created have not yet been solidified as Nvidia is reportedly looking at all of its options. They may create their own original x86-based CPU from the ground up, something their experience with high-speed, massively parallel multiple core GPU designs could help them with, or they may license an existing CPU, such as VIA's Nano 64-bit CPU for their own extensions and purposes.
The new CPU would likely be fully x86, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit modes, including backward-compatible 16-bit legacy support for BIOS and DOS applications, and would be used in place of Atom to power netbooks, MIDs and additional applications.
According to In-Stat senior analyst, Ian Lao, "As long as Nvidia doesn't have an x86 processor, it remains at a disadvantage to Intel and VIA."
An x86-based CPU from Nvidia would round out Nvidia's offerings, allowing them to create complete systems using only their products. From CPUs to chipsets to GPUs, a person could buy a Nvidia system.

VIA's Nano 64-bit CPU - VIA produces their 64-bit CPU in two forms, the "L-series" for high performance and "U-series" for power savings. Nano-L operate at speeds (in GHz) of 1.0, 1.2, 1.3, 1.6 and 1.8 with all except 1.8 GHz model using only 0.1 watt of power at idle, and 5 watts max at 1.0 GHz with 25 watts max at 1.8 GHz. Its die size is 7.65mm x 8.275mm (63.3 square mm).
