Initially seen in March at CeBIT 2009, the 850W and 1000W Z-series power supplies from OCZ have now started to hit stores. Coming in both modular and non-modular versions, the new PSUs are 80Plus Gold certified, meaning they have a kickin' high efficiency (at least 90% at 50% load), are Nvidia SLI-ready, have Active PFC (Power Factor Correction), are ATX12V 2.3/ EPS12V 2.91 compliant, have a MTBF of over 100,000 hours and are cooled off by a 135mm double ball-bearing temp-controlled fan.
Provided with a five-year warranty, the 850W and 1000W Z-series PSUs can now be found at $220/$240 (non-modular/modular) and $290/$300, respectively.
