Wonder why to day i start with "frankly" word ??
Cause today the product that we going to present is all about AMD (Something new were coming) !
Anyone may has seen this from anywhere else... but today you'll se it here at "OverclockZone"

                  Our story today is not just testing Phenom 9850 ... because we will also be looking at "ASUS Crosshair II Formula" and "ASUS EN8800GS" Too !.
We could say that today's story is quite interesting !.
We going to make it simple , step by step.

Deatils that we get from AMD's website showed that Phenom is the
best of all Phenoms , and in the Black Edition that's mean AMD didn't lock the multiplier (Good for Overclocker !!). Also the frequency has been set to 3.5GHz from factory , power consumption rate is around 125w (The topmost of PhenomX4).

Phenom 9850's Level 2 Cache is 512Kbx4 which add up to 2MB ... and thats mean
in one core ... there is 512Kb of Level 2 Cache , and Phenom Processor also having Level 3 Cache.
Phenom 9850 has 2MB at Level 3 Cache same as other Phenom.
The distinction of this AMD Phenom 9850 is at memory controller that has increase from 1.8GHz(Others) to 2.0GHz.

AMD Phenom 9850 still based in Socket AM2+ as others
and also it looks ... same as others. Also same as the other Phenoms that has "Heat Spreader"
work at spreading the heat from CPU to heatsinks.

Today we've got Phenom 9850 as Engineering Sample (Only CPU we've got)
Our Phenom 9850 came in HD985ZXAJ Code.
As we knew this Phenom 9850 is B3 stepping , and B3 stepping is the stipping in series we called
" 50-Series " and of course ... Other Phenom like 9600 and 9500 will be based on
B1 and B2 That's not " 50-Series "
( because we din't get the stock heatsink with it )
So we not going to show the CPU temp). But we just looking at it ... with Scythe Andy Samurai Master the Idle temp. were around 44c , Fullload were around 61c

Again the famous CPU-Z told us almost all of the deatils and this Phenom 9850 based on
Agena Codename Running at 2500MHz from muliplier ( x12.5 ) Bus Speed were at
200MHz and VCore was only 1.25 V

Other point that told us that this thing is "Black Edition" from Phenom 9850 is to be told that this CPU
having lowest multiplier at ( x5 ) and highest was ( x31.5 ) and this also counting on motherboard
for how much they can config.
